New findings reveal that pills dissolve into your system faster depending on your position. Most medications begin working after the stomach ejects them into the intestine. Research published in the journal Physics of Fluid shows the best position to be in so the pills land in the last part of your stomach, getting them into your intestines quicker. The paper reports that laying down on your right side is the best position to take your pills, while standing straight up came in second place.

A recent study in Nature Neuroscience proves that a non-invasive treatment can help older adults preserve their memory. This therapy stimulates the brain using electrodes for twenty minutes over the course of four days. The effects currently last up to one month.
