Co-Host of Radio Health Journal

Nancy is one of the founding hosts of Radio Health Journal when the program debuted in 1992. She continues to host the program to this day. A former news reporter/anchor for WMAQ radio in Chicago, she has won numerous awards for reporting.

Since joining the faculty of the University of Illinois, where she is Professor of Journalism, Benson has also become heavily involved in training journalists internationally. Previously, she worked in Rome as a public affairs consultant with the United Nations World Food Program.
