The U.S. Preventive Services Task Force recommends that women begin getting screened for Osteoporosis at age 65. Screening is also recommended for younger women who are experiencing one or more risk factors, like menopause.
Dr. Jablonski says current research shows that men start to get osteoporosis about ten years after women. So she believes the absolute latest age to start screening men is 75.
