Aspartame has been studied for more than 40 years, but people are still skeptical of its safety. The World Health Organization recently released a report that reaffirms the sweetener’s safety and didn’t find any evidence of cancer-causing properties. Experts break down the new research and explain the effects of having aspartame in your diet.
